NWS Melbourne SKYWARN Class at the Volusia County EOC (Feb. 15 @ 1:00 p.m.)

SKYWARN training is for everyone and provides a basic overview of severe thunderstorms, their hazards, how they form, and their structure. NWS trained weather spotters provide real-time reports of tornadoes, hail, winds, flooding and hurricane damage. Spotters include Ham Radio operators, emergency responders and communication dispatchers, citizen groups and you! Classes are free, and all you need to do is RSVP and show up!
